Xanathrea, in a whort while, regained consciousness. She saw a shadowy figure hovering over her. "Ma-- Marko..?" she stuttered.
"Who?" said a woman's voice, "Foolish human, you speak in gibberish. I am Mundia, goddess of the wind and air, or, as humans
may call me, Sukaia. The beast you speak of is not Marko, but a demidemon named Raipratt."
Mundia, Xanathrea realized,
was the one that was falling. "Wh-- what happened? What was that big explosion, and..." Xanathrea suddenly looked around and
noticed something; "Where are my friends?"
The 'angel' named Mundia did not answer her, but placed two rings and a
bracelet beside Xanathrea.
"These three pieces of what you call 'jewelry' are enchanted with the powers of Ariela,

a diversion by blowing up a car and took your friends captive with the help of his lover, Sanaraia, also a demidemon. She
is better known in this world as Miako. You may know her?"
"Yes, but she's one of our best friends and she hates Mar--
uh, Raipratt. Why would she do that to us, and why would she be Mar-- Raipratt's lover?" Xanathrea was all too quick to retaliate.
"Well," replied Mundia, "Sometimes appearences are just that -- appearences."
"Xanathrea, I must leave you now, but
I tell you this: You will find your friends, and I will aid you three against Raipratt and Sanaraia when you three reunite.
You know how to use the jewelry already, just think hard." "Wait... how-- how'd you know my name?" asked a puzzled Xanathrea.
"I've been watching you three for quite some time. You just didn't look beyond what your eye can see. Again, I must leave.
Good luck, young Xanathrea.
And with that, she was off. Xanathrea, although still confused, put on the jewelry and
set off to find her friends.
